Update January 2010
Hi folks,
I thought I better finish off this blog with a long overdue update. Well where do I begin? Firstly I should say that after Week 34 we got the ‘go ahead’ to start painting – and so we basically did – morning moon and night, with the help of friends and family.
Additionally I became Head of Ardmore Security for a few months, staying on site, freezing my a** off and burning many candles ‘till the electricity and heating finally got connected. I also managed to burst 3 ‘blow-up’ mattresses, however I didn’t fall off the upstairs landing before the stairs were installed.
Anyway we finally moved in at the start of the summer 2009 and now we are well and truly settled with only a handful of jobs left to do inside.
Thanks again to those at Ard Lodge, Ardmore House and all who showed interest in the project. Enjoy the pics and I hope you all have a Happy New Year.
Watch this space though - there will possibly be another update in June 2010 when I start the garden!!
